Carbine PD3000 Series The Carbine Epsom series of locksets has been praised for its versatility, reliability and ease of use since its inception into the market in the late 1990's. It is a high grade commercial knobset which has a cylindrical fixing. Distinctive by its solid round knob shaped look and large rose, they have served the commercial market place successfully for many years and have gained a reputation for being a proven performer in that time. It is both practical and functional in todays commercial market. As well as being sold in a boxed pack, they are also available in a retail display pack for those looking to display a range of commercial locksets on their shop walls. Features include:
- Entrance function
- Outside function: opened by knob when free. Key locks or unlocks both knobs but does not retract the latch
- Inside function: opened by knob at all times. Push button locks outside knob
- Fire rated to Tyco specifications
- Cylindrical fixing
- Supplied with 70mm backset as standard with a 60mm available as an option. Display pack version is 70mm only.
- 127mm backset extension is available if required
- Suitable for doors 35mm - 45mm in thickness although used successfully on doors up to 50mm thick
- Especially made to take restricted in line and nearly all higher security restricted cylinders
- Rekeyable and offers a 6 pin C4 key
- Cylinder is a PD style brass cylinder
- Has a rose diameter of 75mm
- Spacing rings or plates are available for use on thinner doors
- Supplied with concealed fixing
- Stainless steel latch bolt with a 12mm projection
