Master key systems are designed to solve several common problems which are:
1. Provide control over who has keys.
2. Provide control over which doors those keys have access to.
3. To insure extra keys can not be duplicated with out the correct authority.
4. To have the convenience of one master key to work all doors.
Above these base requirements there are many other features specific to each type of system some of which are detailed on the following pages.
Bi-Lock
- Offers unique patented design and compatibility with most locks used in Australia including door locks, cabinets, draws, letter boxes, key switches, padlocks and much more. Along with the coloured key heads for easy identification of the different keys. While the U shaped key makes copying of the key with out specialized equipment next to impossible. The new Quick change core system allows the end user to change the keying in minutes if required.
With 12 pins and two unconventional side bars locking inside each cylinder, resistance to picking is of the highest level.
KABA
- The Swiss system is world recognized as having one of the highest levels of security. The shape and style make the keys exceptionally strong and durable. With over 20 cuts on each key providing many master keying options. The new KABA expert now have coloured key heads for easy identification. With the ability to attach the KABA Elolegic access control system to an existing key(the electronics are in the key head). The control module is then installed in the door to be fully self contained giving electronic control as well as mechanical security in one device.
MLBP
- A product of the Master Locksmiths Association this is an entry level restricted system. Even so it has patented features which no other 6 pin in line system's offer. Pick resistant features are built into each cylinder, also a unique side pin can be used on a larger system if the required. The new thicker key increase strength and as with all our restricted systems your authority is required before we will cut a new key !
